January Meeting: 2026-01-15 @ 19:00
Just a reminder that our first meeting of the new year will be a
continuation of the previous meeting.
I'll provide a clear set of instructions on what we have covered so far
by the end of the weekend. The goal at this point is to have a emulated
sparc system running solaris 8 up and running prior to Thursday.
The next session will be adding some additional software from the
distribution and installing some extras from an external archive. We
might even be able to get you to browse the internet (be careful here)
from Solaris 8 using a legacy browser!
