Hi Camille,
I'm pretty sure your alternate plans are much more important. Since we
are not doing anything specific tonight, I doubt you will be missing
anything special. I'll probably post a summary afterwards to lay out our
direction (if we get that far) anyway, so feel free to comment on that
after the fact. This is a group activity, so all input is important and
just because you are not there tonight does not mean you can't contribute.
Good luck with the marketplace items.
Cheers,
Scott

Hi Scott,
I’m sorry, but I won’t be able to make it tonight. I have a ride to go
pick up some baby items I found on Marketplace, and the person helping
me can only do it this evening (the downside of not driving or having
a car). I invited her to eat afterward, since it would’ve felt rude
not to.
Sorry about that! Hope you have fun.
Camille

It might be time to solicit some topics.
* We have the lab build (kind of a long term item) and all the
related activities that go with it.
* Hands on project type activities.
* Retro Computing (and by that I do not mean old pentiums).
* Virtualization.
* AI (for certain values of intelligence).
* Automation.
* Networking.
* Emulation.
Suggestions welcome. If someone has a specific topic or project they'd
like to propose or present on, feel free to take over a meeting of
part of one.
I can show a little basic emulation of another hardware under Linux on
Thursday, kind of a followup to the last meeting.
I can also speed-run the talk I did for Linux-Ottawa a couple of weeks
ago as part of the last talk as well.
Cheers,
Scott
